It started as a game jam entry and I have kept extending it since. It is also a game about a cat called Charlie who uses yarn to fight demonic crocodiles.

What was interesting to build

A palette-swap shader in Shader Graph that retints the whole world on a biome change, and a vignette transition on level completion. Most of the work, though, has gone into the architecture rather than the surface — building it so new content can be added without reopening old systems.

Pitched at The Very Big Indie Pitch, Pocket Gamer Connects Summit Malmö, where it was given a shout-out from the stage. PocketGamer then featured it in their write-up of the event, calling it “a twin-stick shooter with roguelike and puzzle elements that has a retro vibe”.
